After collecting for a long time, I made my first personal submission to PCGS. Results of the four are as follows. I also have a Philly and CC Morgan in 70, a SF in 70 days and a Denver
Morgan in 69. Hope you enjoy seeing.

It took me many years to send my first sub too (and now I've done several, including show grading).
    Congrats on the good results!

I enjoyed seeing your coins. When I started collecting, I bought some gold coins from a dealer that were raw. He offered to take them to a show in a few days. He thought they would both be graded MS63, but he said not to hold him to those grades. Being a newbie, I let him take them to the show. I only had to reimburse him his expense to have them graded. When he came back, he told me the coins didn't do as well as he thought they would. He offered to buy them back and he would not ask me to reimburse the cost to have them graded. Anyway, the Liberty Head double eagle was a "details" coin and the Liberty eagle was MS-61. I decided to keep them. I am not versed well enough to grade a coin accurately. The only way I will have a graded coin is if it has already been graded. For that reason, only only have about 40 graded coins, mostly purchased through ebay.
I really like your Reverse Proof ASEs. I bought the set from the Mint. I have only taken it out to look at them a couple of times. They are beautiful.
I would like to know how good are the coins that are bought from the Mint? Do they usually have high grades as yours are? Thanks.

As far as leave the mint quality goes, it can be a craps shoot. The ‘21 Morgans got plenty of 70s, but the Denver minted one had lots of problems and the MS70s carry big premiums. I had to settle for a 69 Denver. I agree: the reverse proof set was a killer!

From what I have been reading on their web site, many folks would be very happy at 3 months.
