I am new to coin collecting by way of a family member having the wife and I hold their coins. Went through most of them last night and tried to identify with a U.S Coin book I bought. At times it was confusing and I was not sure if the coin in the book was the same as the one I was holding. All the coins I currently have are silver, (dollars, half dollar, quaters, dimes and nickles) ranging in dates from 1880’s to 1971 and there quite a few of some. I weighed the entire amout and there is 11.6 pounds of coins. I would like to take them to a “reputable” coin collector for a better assesment on what I have. Can anyone point me to a good coin collector in my area, I am in the Atlanta GA area. PM me with your email if you would like a couple of photo's, file size exceeds forumn size limit.

Like jello mentioned. You can always take pictures to show us and I'm sure the members will shoot value and kind of coin you have.
