    I hope they fair well... unfortunately the gulf stream is very warm ,and with no prior storms to up well the waters and cool them down some.. this may hit as a 3 or 4 storm. That could be very bad for costal Canada... oak island may be blown off the map

    We're heading for the southern NC coast next weekend.

    So, unfortunately, is the newly-christened TS Ian, which looks like it may hit Florida from the west as a Cat 3 storm, then re-emerge over the Gulf Stream. Sigh.

    I've had strong NE winds yesterday, through the night and still active this morning here in south central Maine.
