Very nice Large Cents. For middle date LCs I like to use the position of the second S in STATES in relation with the leaf top at around 12:00 on the reverse to ID the reverse die, and then figure out the obverse based on date position/spacing, as well as stars (which can vary a LOT). I believe quite a few other collectors take that approach as well.

    Agreed.
Leaf position relative to some letters on the reverse appear to be the best starting point.
And the last "S" in STATES is often used.
Tends to thin out the possibilities.
