I have this China card from the coin sets of all Nations from Franklin Mint. They appear to be sealed would that mean that these are proof coins? How would I be able to tell if these are proof? Did Franklin Mint release both proof and uncirculated types of these? IMG_20220922_135044678.jpg IMG_20220922_135051304.jpg

They are usually just uncirculated. The coins aren't made by the Franklin Mint. Whatever company made these sets just packages up coins from the country and sells them as a set. I've seen circulated coins included in them as well.

These Chinese coins seem to be in high demand. Proof ones sell for about $1,000. But I seen others which I assume are not proofs though they look identical sell for a few hundred. I'm trying to figure out how to identify the difference

Definitely not proof. They are very distinctive as they have mirror surfaces

Reasons why proofs are expensive is because they were originally broken apart from original proof sets and repackaged. Proof coins from that era are already uncommon.

That said, UNC coins can be expensive depending on whar key dates you have.

    Yes.

Chinese coins can also have very substantial grade premiums.

Coins in these sets come very nice so don't assume yours are high grade.
