I am designing a coin website that has been in the works for quite a while. Well I have quite a few variety of coins in my collection but of course I don't own every type of US Coin so I was hoping you guys could donate (or ask for something reasonable for) your photos. I would need a picture of both the obverse and reverse the coin does not need to be a special date and I don't care what quality the coin is in just so you can see the majority of the details. I am looking for the following photos of coins. Union Shield Penny Two Cent Silver Three Cent Nickel Three Cent Shield Nickel Liberty Head Nickel Barber Dime Liberty Seated Quarter Barber Quarter National Park Quarter Seated Liberty Half Dollar Seated Liberty Dollar Trade Dollar Morgan Dollar Peace Dollar Liberty Head Gold Dollar Indian Head Gold Dollar If you could provide any of these for me it would be greatly appreciated.
Depending on how quickly you need them, I can probably get you some pictures by the middle of next week. All I would want is credit that the coin is in my collection. I know I could do the morgan, the peace, the national park quarters (when they are delivered from the mint). I think I may also have an indian head dollar and the liberty head dollar. I am still in the process of cateloging what my grandfather had, so that's why I'm not 100% sure what I have. My other question is, why don't you just google image the coins you need? You can always give credit to the source of the picture or email the webmaster of the page you are taking the image from and ask their permission. Just a thought.
Because if I would like to have photos from myself or individual persons. Anyone can just go copy and paste pictures online, thanks for the thought though. And yeah I am in no rush and could give you credit.
If you go to that link and actually read what it says - you will find out that the site was created specifically so that people, meaning anyone, could use those pictures for anything they want to use them for. That site was created and designed for people just like you - and for no other reason.
