Thats very true...ive seen quite a few ASE's cracked out of these old PCI slabs toned exactly like yours.
And know in fact they were at one time in one of these slabs as the tonning is again like you specimen.
Ive have had some neat toning on Silver dollars, mercury dimes, and buffalos from these 1st gen pci slabs. I sent Lord M an 1944 Walker in a pci with 100 % white ....and lol it wasnt.

I love those older PCI slabs. I had a 1921 peace dollar in an older green slab graded MS63 I cracked it after awhile and sent it to I believe NGC and it came back as a 63+. I wish that CAC would sticker older slabs like this or the old soap box ANA and ANCS slabs, there are some very nice coins in those slabs and a sticker might prevent them from being destroyed by the crack out gamers.

I believe you'd find that the average of the TPG mentioned is far less than that of currently diminished standards of NGC or PCGS.

A means to establish the average of the suggested firms would be difficult.

The value of the CAC service would assuredly believe to be diminished and the firms' credibility questioned more than currently.

That's not true with the early PCI holders with the 10 digit serial numbers. It is true with the later PCI holders.

My experience with older 10 digit PCI slabs would concur with your statement.
