Ok, this is a double guess. Please guess the grade and selling price. If you know from following auctions, let’s keep it secret. I do have a history with this coin, and will do the backstory in the reveal.

I can see MS 66 and will guess around $5,000
(could be more with recent pricing...note: I have not seen this coin...it might be in an auction I haven't looked at yet)

MS64. No guess on the price. Toning can make people spend too much money.

I'd call her a 63* that dink on the bottom of the eagles right wing (left side) is gonna hold it back if not detail it... Looks like nice "old album" toning to me so I don't think there's much chance of AT so I gave her the star... Without the dink on the wing I might call it 65 but it really catches and holds my eye...
Now price... Hmm I'd call it probably around 750-800 hammer price
Unless you were the most recent buyer then I would bring it down to 550-600 :D

Ok, when I bought this coin in 2008, it was a MS 65, in an OGH. I remember paying $200 for it, but I really liked the fireball toning. My opinion was that it was appropriately graded. I sold it in my big toner sale as a 65 OGH for $900, in 2018, to a private buyer.

back in 2020, I believe it was resold for $1200, in the same holder. A few weeks ago I was researching toned sales on eBay, Great Collections, and Heritage, and found this:

Was I surprised by a 66+ grade CAC in a reholder? Yes, as I thought the 65 was appropriate. The sale price, as one can see, was $2499. So, the upgrade paid off, although I think that quality of toning could have sold for a higher price.
