Looks like it may be a split planchet. What's the weight?

 

Post mint damage?? Or legitimate error? Anyone else want to make a comment. Strange to say the least. I'm going with....Nah. I got nothing.

 

I want to know the weight too and would like to see the edge next to a normal cent!

 

We need more information, the weight and a photo of the edge.

I guess. We really need to see the edge to see how thin it is. None of us can really say for sure at this point.

 

Personally, I think the edge pic is a waste of time. It looks like its a split planchet and the low weight is a strong confirmation. Why bother with an edge pic? What is that going to tell you that you don't already see?

 

I have a few split planchets. There is a difference in them that I can’t explain. The edge photo really helps me.
