I know 40% are fake, but I am not really good with this, it looks good overall but I see some weakness in the feathers towards their end (could be wear though) and I have seen a few depressions but don't know if they are from a die transfer or are legit. I circled them in red on the reverse. The star to the left of the date seems a little mishapen to me too. Size is 18mm and weight is 4.17g, grade too if you think you can.
I don't see anything that makes me think fake but the pics are not the best either. But if the depressions you see have a different color than the rest of the coin, or luster, then there's a good chance it is fake. As for grade - low AU.
Thanks, it is hard to get a good pic from an 18mm coin and a loupe. I also saw what looked to me like tool marks, there is one you can see in the last set of pics on the rev under the "b" in "pluribus" and in the last obv pic you can see what looks like a scratch. There are a couple others that look like they could be scratches or planchet marks that go across some of the letters, the field looks damaged but the letters are undamaged. Could that simple be a planchet mark that the letters were struck over? Anyone else have an opinion?
The pics aren't really that clear but of course when you open them the coin looks real. The circled indentation could be from staples of a fellow flip. just my 2 cnts
