    The French mint has an interesting three-year series (2008-2010) of silver and gold coins featuring the Semeuse (sower). Maybe a little too abstract for people who prefer designs of the 19th/early 20th century, but quite attractive in my opinion. Especially because each denomination shows the sower in a different position. So if you have them all, and put one next to the other, it almost looks as if she was walking ...

    Me too! The proofs are too hard to picture that well and the Libertad had to make it into this list somehow or other :high5:

    Illini the Barber "lady"? :bigeyes: Beautiful half, but I can't say the same for the lady :D. She has to be the manliest woman I've ever seen. Lol, I think she's the "woman" the Kinks sung about in Lola.

    Hah-ha! Very funny! I think this applies to the majority of the First Spouse coins that have been released to date, minus the Liberties of course. :high5:

    I stand corrected and rightfully so. Thanks for teaching me something new. I just assumed because of the headdress.
