I wouldn't fret too much. That coin came from a rather large hoard of 1945-S Mercury Dimes that all were submitted around the same time, had very similar toning, and received very high grades (MS68 mostly). The sellers photos are juiced and the price tag of $400 is way too high. Here is one I found that sold on Heritage a few years ago for only $230.

Take a look at the submission numbers, these two coins came from the same exact submission. If you look through all of the MS68 1945-S Mercury's in Heritage's archives, you will find many with this toning pattern and grade without a high price tag. Be patient, it won't be long before another hits the market.

 

Puerile? Yes. Childish? Yes. Amusing? Well to me? Yes.
