Here is the 3rd of the Wartime Jeffersons in the set I bought last week. All opinions are appreciated.
Beautiful coloring and well struck, except for the steps. Just missed them. Getting FS is more difficult than you think it would be.
Out of all the ones you’ve posted so far, I haven’t seen a single one that I wouldn’t be proud to have in my collection.
This is very close to a FS-102 I am not very sure though. The MM on mine looks too far to the right. This P MM is also an RPM. It has the clash at the Knot/Queue and front of chin.
@Paddy54 http://varietyvista.com/04a JN DD Vol 1/DDO Detail Pages/1943PDDO005.htm Brians variety's only shows 12 examples, and it doesn't match. I am starting to think that it is a late-stage B, or early-stage C because of the Polishing marks on the reverse to try and cover up the clash.
I was looking at a few examples on Coinfacts. there are a few other toners that have streaky colorful toning. https://coins.ha.com/itm/jefferson-...-23100.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515
I found the RPM RPM-066 It's RPM-066 http://varietyvista.com/05 JN RPMs/1943PRPM066.htm Thanks @Lehigh96 I was starting to think you were MIA.
I here ya, It happens we all have a life to live. How's your brothers Franklin set coming along? We all enjoy your knowledge.
By the way, what looks like a carbon spot above the U of UNUM is a bit of retained grease or, die fill.
