I've recently discovered an unique Roosevelt dime, it has a clearly visible "p" mint mark approximately 3 millimeters above the standard "p" mint mark. The coin is in good condition, and I can't find any similar cases of this coin online. Any estimations on it's value?

    Cool...thanks!

I was checking Cherrypickers' to see if there's a comparable error to suggest a ballpark price...and I see this entry on Page #112; talking about a 1985P "Possible Misplaced Mintmark"...

If your coin is an early die state, or more plainly shows the Misplaced Mintmark, then Cherrypickers' may be interested to hear from you. In any event...we need a picture. :hail:

There's an unreported D/D quarter so a Philly dime wouldn't be surprising.

Sometimes mechanical doubling can have a very wide spread and die erosion doubling can have a wider spread yet.
