Alright everybody, it's time for another GTG. Again, it's a Morgan Dollar, common date, but uncommon eye appeal. Let's see what you all think she graded.

Wow, she is near flawless. Very deserving of 67 or 67+. But I will say 66+ is on the holder.

I am going 66 on this one.
    Pretty Morgan Justin.

Thank you! She was love at first site. I loved the subtle toning and the very frosty surfaces. A lot of '79-S Morgans have a very flashy surface, but this one just wasn't typical. Great luster, but very frosty.

Should I try a different grade vs my CU guess to improve my odds? :p

No; I'll be consistent and say a solid MS 65

    65. That tinge of purple makes me think it might be in an ANACS OWH, will go conservative with the grade.

Close, it's not ANACS though. ;)

Well, it looks like low attendance, I will go ahead and post the reveal. She is in an older NGC 3.0 holder as a MS-65. I will send her off to CAC and see what they think of her.

It's definitely worthy of a CAC, maybe a gold.
Sure, would look good with that holder.

I'm really hoping for a gold on this one. But there are no guarantees.

I was high by one grade but I’m sure it would grade higher today.

Late to the party. I was at 65. I can’t see how it would grade higher than 65. Reverse quite clean. Obverse has enough contact marks to keep it at 65. Nice toning, and overall good eye appeal. Attractive coin! Keep it in the fatty, and send it for a possible Gold CAC.
