2023 Morgan and Peace Commemoratives?

I just got an email from the mint telling me to enroll now for the 2023 release? Did I miss the memo? I thought this was a one year event in honor of the hundred year anniversary. Is this to be an ongoing release like ASE's?

I received the same email but I had already signed up for them.
Maybe the mint didn't get enough subscriptions for them.

The proof and RP was always planned and was supposed to be this year but got pushed back from the planchet supply problems. Its not clear if they will continue or not after this next round

 

Ahhhh now I see they added the uncirculated coins to the enrollments.
I'll just stick with the proof.

No interest here. I bought the Peace Dollar because I wanted to see the design fully struck.

 

Same i got the proof and reverse proof only. Only cause I know they'll be astronomically priced when they come out if i don't

 

If you read the law, there is nothing limiting it to a one year event (as I posted at the time).

I got one of each last year. 2021 seems right. 2023 and up seems contrived.

 

You mean if we sign up now we won't get them early so we can qualify with the Advance Release crowd?

 

I got an email about them. I "enrolled" on them, thinking they were going to release the 2023 coins/medals in 2022. I must have been asleep because I really don't need them. I get certain "annuals" from the Mint and get other coins from ebay if the price is right. The prices they quoted weren't that high, but if they are going to release them every year, they aren't really worth it to me. I like the one only items. I'm especially into the American Liberty gold coins. I got the 2017 but I really don't like it. I do like the 2021 horse. I hope there's not going to be a run on the silver horse tomorrow, because I would like it to make a set.

 

I enrolled a while ago on July 15th for both the reverse Proof set and single Peace dollar proof.

I couldn't get them last year. So with the Enrollment I should get them.
There was a thread about this a while back.

 

Not particularly interested in any of these. However, I enrolled for one of each of them. This way, I can make my decision when the time comes. I can cancel my enrollment if I decide I don't want a particular issue.

 

A lot takes place when you go to the beach house. Lol They are making it again. I passed the first time and I’ll pass this time. Their prices are so high I’ll die before I break even.

 

Oh and if I want something that looks like a Morgan or Peace Dollar I’ll just go buy the real thing.
