If you graph that out and plot a regression line...the cent should reach zero (0) around 2017. :thumb:
next year or so. the mint gonna change the composition of cent and nickel. why not just follow the canadian steps. change all cent, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and dollar coins. use 100% steel inside and plated with whatever we are using right now. so that it looks everything the same. will it be nice and cheaper?.
The quarter is the "new penny" (imho). It makes no sense whatsoever to continue minting the obsolete penny, nickel, and dime. :hammer:
it's only a joke. who's gonna hoard those heavy, circulated and unwanted currently use coins. tell me. how many anna harrison you got?.
I only hoard the 1946-1964 silver ones. :kewl: I think they have the best chance for price appreciation over the next 20 years or so. The final tally on my Anna Harrison is four (4) Uncs and two (2) proofs. It'll be 10-20 years before we see much appreciation in these coins, but I'm confident we're doing the right thing by buying them now. Lately, I have been getting interested in highest end early clad coins 1965-1972. Some of those dates may turn out be be great rarities in the higher grades. You always have to stay one step ahead of the coin market if you're gonna get a good price. :high5:
I'm new, so I apologize if I am stepping on toes, but I found that doing a search on google for: 200,000 boy scout dollar, an article showed up stating that on Saturday March 27 "The coin program has already been a great success," said Director Moy. "It went on sale this past Tuesday, March 23rd, and as of this morning, out of 350,000 that were available to sell, 200,000 have been sold."
