1985 D Error?

    Were any 1985 D lincoln memorial cents, minted on a copper planchet. I have one that appears to be. My coin scale isn't working. Got to find one to get a weight.

    Please do weigh it. It's also possible it was struck on a off weight planchet. It should not exist by that date though with the last being made in 1982.

    You can make a crude scale out of a AA battery and a popsicle stick. Create a balanced seesaw and place a known copper vent on one end. Then your specimen on the other. Still balanced? Or is your specimen raised?

    Sorry guys its 2.6 grams. I found it metal detecting a homeplace, I was thinking that being in the ground so long there would have been evidence of zinc rot.
