I'm new to this hobby and this site has been great. I have got lots of help with any question that I have had so I decided to donate.
Made a small donation the other day. Hope it helps. If I get a chance I will send an Xmas card. I made a note of it yesterday.
All set. Sent a card and made a donation. Been pretty busy lately and haven't had too much spare time to be here. I did get the email though, which alerted me to this . Thanks,..........................................................................John
Hi everyone! I wanted to give everyone a belated thanks, and apologize for not keeping up and sending everyone an individual thank you note. A couple days before Christmas I came down with the flu, and I'm just getting over it now. Adam got a ton of cards and was very thrilled every day when he got to the mailbox and found new cards waiting. I've been working on a "New Years Resolutions for CoinTalk" post which should give everyone some insight about what 2010 has in stock for our community. Most of all, I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate all of you, and what a great community of people we have here!
Peter Any Update on this??? What are the goals where are we at now? How much do you need? I'd like to make a donation next time I get paid... Thanks again for all that you do... I love this site!!!
Is this an ongoing venture? I never bought nor sold here - but obtained a bunch of info - and if a few $$ would make a difference, I would be willing... Please post and let me know
Check out the user control panel. Scroll down to miscellaneous and then click on paid subscriptions. Contributions to the site can be made there......:smile
It's not that funds are needed to fix the forum. Funds are always needed just to keep it in existence. To pay the bills in other words. Do you have any idea what it cost each and every month just to pay the hosting bills ? It aint cheap ! Those funds come out of Peter's pocket - not from generated income.
Yeah, I understand about what prices are included in that Doug. Although I think you and I are under different impressions about what this was about in the first place. I mean, whatever I really don't care, I was just curious if he needed more money to fix the forum. But since that post, all the links seem to be working, advertisements aren't goofing up, some of the credit features work now, and the site runs at a mile a minute... So something must have been taken care of.
No, your understanding is the same as mine. But my response was more about "now" as opposed to "then".
