    Hi y’all,
Currently work as a teller for a credit union, noticed these were in my cash drawer and quickly withdrew em;)

Nice. I remember when all you needed to get a Silver Dollar at the bank was $1 in coin or currency to trade for it. Very nice find.

I think that peace dollar looks especially good on the obverse. Nice find.

Yep. Somewhere up there, there's a newly-arrived ex-collector, holding his harp with one hand as he face-palms with the other.

2X2s will do for those. How old was the lady and was she a customer of the credit union?

Yeah, I don't think they need airtites after spending however many decades under a couch, right?

It's cool that your employer lets tellers do that; we've heard multiple times here about banks that make it a firing offense to swap change, even if you keep the balance constant.

The member was a fairly older lady, she was indeed a member of the credit union as those peace dollars ended up in her account. Amazed all of the tellers that those existed lol

Indeed is a big offense for swapping em, I was the first to end my shift and quickly “withdrew” them ;)

I'd pay a Sawbuck or so for those, too. The reason I asked is financial institutions have responsibilities to let's just call it be aware of things, these days. Suppose those Peace Dollars were Double Eagles. You get what I'm driving at. Especially if they're elderly, it can be like taking candy from a baby. If they're Millennials, Hell with them, it's their loss, your gain. Elderly, though, these institutions these days have to have their eyes open a little. All I'm saying. Just keep it in mind. And keep Grandma away from your collection. :)
