I'm glad they put them in Product Enrollment because I missed last years Peace Dollar - I don't know if they were in the PE program though.

    I don't think they've announced any mintage numbers yet. The 2021 versions were 175,000 - 200,000

[edit] Never mind, I see @Hommer posted numbers above.

I've been buying coin sets for my nieces and nephews for over 20 years, and I plan to get them something again this year. For a while I've been buying the silver quarters proof sets, but I don't see that this year and even if they release them the price will likely be too high. I'm probably just going to go with clad proof sets for them this year.

They are selling silver proof sets this year for $105. But whatever you get them, I assure you it will be special. I have coins my grandparents gifted me years ago and I treasure them. They are not valuable in the conventional sense. They are valuable to me.

Yep. I don't collect Morgans, really, but there's one 1881-S, maybe MS-62, that'll never leave my collection. It's the one I got when my grandfather handed out shiny fresh-from-the-bank silver dollars to all the grandchildren one Christmas.

That's about the time Dad (RIP) and teen me started buying proof sets. Dad loved proofs and, on his meager steelworker salary and pension, was a BIG deal in the family. Still is now on MY meager pension...likely the same $ "value" as his at the time considering inflation and degradation of the dollar.

Six weeks later, it's just about 9K. Fun to watch but I'll be very surprised if it doesn't surpass the ~12.5K Boys Town/Women's Suffrage/Breast Cancer mintages by the end of the year.

The Purple Heart release is GORGEOUS! The only other Commerative I cherish is the Botanical Gardens, me being a Professional Horticulturist. I ws tempted to purchase a Purple Heart commemorative due to a number of service members in my extended family. I'll likely get one...i the near future.

A few items I like but prices are too high.
I've learned to wait awhile and can often get their stuff on the secondary Market at a lower price.

I'm jealous, I just got a notice yesterday from the mint saying that mine was delayed and won't be shipped until Aug 22nd.

Interestingly, I actually got three emails from the mint, each saying the same thing - my order is delayed... I hope I didn't accidentally order three of them o_O

We'll see, you never know. They went on sale the first week of the year and sold almost 5,000 the first week and after 7 months they are still only up to 7,688 (I think you were looking at the unc clad half at 8,928). They are still the lowest Unc dollar with last years Law Enforcement being #2 at 9,422.

You're right, I was looking at the wrong number, thanks.
