50 Eisenhower dollars, 20 Susan B Anothny dollars, 70 Kennedy Halves, 125 rolls of Wheat Pennies and 50 Indian Head Pennies for 400.00?? The guy had them on Craigs List. He is 74 years old and says he picks this stuff up whenever he sees it. I have no idea on the dollars or halves. Deal or no??? Oh, I about forgot, I can buy the pennies only for 1.75?

My local dealer sells wheatie rolls for three bucks each. At that price the wheaties alone are 375 bucks, plus 105 dollars face value alone for the rest. That's not counting the roll of Indian heads, which I know nothing about. Sounds good to me.

If you dont want it, I will be glad to go in with you for the cents or buy everything if you dont want it. If you are not into cents, I will go in with you if you want.

I was after the pennies. He has another 25 rolls he wants to keep. I don't know anything about the dollars and halves. I am picking them up tommorow. Mabey I'll find that 55??

Unless the Ikes and SBA's and non silver Kennedy's are choice UNC's they are just spendable to me. I give them out in change all the time. It seems to be about full retail for that stuff.

You can order 100 rolls of "Unsearched" wheaties out of Coinworld for $249... and that's expensive.

It sounds like a decent deal. It seams that some people are paying over face for Ikes now so you may be able to make some money there and you just never know, there may be some keepers in the cents.

  9. Sounds like an ok deal but I would check out the condition of the coins before committing to the purchase. If you do buy, post some pics. TC

My thought is that if Pops has been rolling these wheats, he probably knows enough about what are keepers and what aren't... esp. since you mention that he has 25 rolls he wants to keep... just my two cents.

My thoughts are that that is about $265 worth of coins.

You don't think the roll of Indians are worth anything more than the wheats?

I came up with a figure pretty close to what bqcoins did. I came up with $280 wholesale.

face for the ikes, sba, and kennedys. 2 cent a piece for the lincolns and 70 cents each for the indians, that is $265, IMO.

I allowed a little more for the indians but other than that we see them the same.

    Well,
I just got home with the stash, and after 6 rolls, found a 1915 S and a 1909 vdb that looks real good. The 1915 is awsome. I gotta take a nap, I am tired.

    Well,
I never took the nap, but found a 1924D that is real nice and 4 more 1909vdb's. I'm gonna have a heart attach with those 1909's?
