2007w AGB one ounce proof mintage 58,998. original cost $829.95. currently around $1,350.00.

2009w AGB one ounce proof mintage 48,994. if the mint really stop it at 50,000 or less. then the price of 09w AGB could go up pass the 07w price. the mint is selling at $1,410.00. but dealers bidding is around $1,250.00.

Jackie has crossover appeal with sports memorabilia collectors, civil rights collectors, and there are even collectors who specialize in Jackie memorabilia! There are really not many collectors who specialize in early American first ladies.

If this coin isn't a gem, then I don't know what is.... Now I know Abigail on the obverse isn't a looker, but they couldn't have struck a better coin!

Hey...take any Movie Star today (with no shampoo or makeup), put 'em on a coin, and see what you get!

Abigail might not be half bad after an "Oprah Makeover". :hail:

Dan, the only problem with that is well....you're still gonna have one heck of a bill. Just get it over with now. I doubt we will see the price of gold drop below $1000 for a very, very long time.

Brings to mind a certain Seinfeld episode when they had low flow shower heads resulting in bad hair days...

my latest plan is to buy 4 each of the proof first spouses. letitia, julie, sarah & polk. no uncirculated in my list as of now. total FS stand 133,181 proof and 104,804 unc. by looking at this figure. proof version look more attractive in the future.
