Here is another purchase from the estate sale. I believe it would grade between F/VF. Please let me now what you think? upload_2022-7-16_23-44-29.jpeg upload_2022-7-16_23-44-29.jpeg

F-15; a bit too much weakness on the full Liberty for a VF-20.

Thanks to everyone for the confirmation. It was a good purchase right on spot. A gain for me because i did not have this one.

You use the term "Estate Sale" but it sounds more like an auction with individual pieces, instead of "lots" of merchandise. Was it put on by an auction house?

Ive seen estates here being sold or auction by a lawyers or an auctioneer. When I see such advertisement in the news paper...my first thoughts are the family wants a quick sale of the assets.
But yes to my knowledge an estate sale would be an live auction of said property. Rather than listing the items on an auction house where it could take as much as an year or more to recieve the proceeds.
Im sure you know how or have seen the buzzards gather after a person dies.
Out of the blue...not doupt im the favorite nephew...lol.wheres my inheritance?

Right on spot is the gradings that you guys have given according to the price that I paid $120. it was an estate sale not an estate auction first come first serve. Also acquired quite a few more pieces I’ll post them later. Thanks everyone

In my area an estate sale is the fancy way to say yard or garage sale.

Yard sales and garage sales are when a home owner is trying to down size to get rid of overflow. Estate sales are when a company is hired to sell the in-tire contents of the estate

I was afraid you meant you'd paid silver spot (melt) for it. THAT would've been quite a pick. I still think you did all right.

    Estate sales imply someone died.

Yeah, they just butchered it. It's like the "Clearance" sales in the stores when they're really not over-stocked, they're just trying to move more product. Add, "Today Only!" Then they do the same thing the next week. :D

On a related note, is there such a thing as a mattress store that ever isn't going out of business? What is it about the mattress industry that attracts so many business-school dropouts?
