Professional journalists take pride in sorting fact from fiction and telling the reader what the real story is. This writer, obviously doesn’t qualify. What you see is what has happened to the media and it’s pay and performance system being based on web clicks.

 

Welllll...... I guess. Maybe. I don't know. I will check on that. I will follow up on that pride thing, too.

 

First, there is a gold dime issued in 2016, as well as a gold quarter, and half dollar. However, that is not the issue.
A few years ago, I went into my credit union to make a deposit. My was a teacher in this area for over 30 years, and most of her students know me. After the deposit was made, the teller asked me if I wanted a gold quarter. I told her that I would like to see it. When she gave it to me, it was a gold "PLATED" quarter. I told her so and she asked me if I wanted it. I told her that I would give her a quarter for her "gold" plated quarter. I also told her to be careful with these types of transactions.
My "gold plated quarter" is now in a 2x2 with the rest of my junk.

 

Why, oh why .. Did you kill a nice 2X2 for that quarter?
