Hi. Osborne Coinage minted 51,100 'Silver Eagle Winner' coins for the 1992 Shell Oil promotional game. Most were turned in for the prize, but quite a few were not redeemed. This is because the game ended and many gas stations still had piles of the coins that were not yet handed out. What is the secret mark on the JFK coin?

Hi Richard. I have several thousand of the aluminum game coins from the various Shell Oil promotional games. I buy collections in hope of finding the prize-winning coins and 'Instant Winner' coins. Some of the 'Instant Winner' coins are quite rare. Do any of your coins have 'Instant Winner' on the back?

Can anyone tell me anything about these aluminum presidential medals? The obverses are quite similar to the Shell and Cracker Jack ones except these have a highlight reel of their careers on the reverse. There’s no obvious mintmark or identifying moniker anywhere on them. I can’t find any info on these after an extensive search. Any info would be greatly appreciated. 60B77FB0-EFB1-471B-9086-26479982DB8D.jpeg AE942F47-C3A5-4C02-A661-33F828AE4168.jpeg

I can't speak for these, but other companies did medal series similar to Shell, including Sunoco, which did medals and stamps.
