    Wouldnt waste $5 on that thing I dont care how old/rare it may be.

    PCGS actually grades something as an 'ugly head'?

    I'll have to raid that shoe box under the bed for $309,000. Bet that item goes unsold!

    I would have bought it, but I just bought that $100,000 penny on the other thread.

    It's the name of the variety (Ugly Head Copper: Introduction). Lol, apparently collectors didn't like the obverse design too much.

    Wow, she really ain't much to look at in decent shape! Ugly head is a perfect name for it. I really hope that engraver wasn't one by trade!:confused:
     
  11. Talk about a low-ball registry item. I like my coins brighter, shinier and more aesthetically pleasing. I am amazed that PCGS even handled that coin. Seems as if you opened the slab the coin would disintegrate. TC
