First I want to thank anyone who had me in their prayers. I received more than a few messages about my severe stroke. Truthfully I'm lucky to be alive. Here I am though. Second, I missed my favorite CT friends, and I am back in full effect. I have some new coins coming this week to share. BUT FIRST, this 1822 half I have is interesting. It has been cleaned and then ART Toned to cover the cleaning. But the details are AMAZING. I believe upwards of MS-63, I sent to NGC to get some details. They sent me the coin back with "AU Details", needless to say I wasn't happy with this so I cracked and sent it BACK to NGC.... Now I have received it with UNC Details.... (Much Better) I looked carefully in my Overton book and I think it is a O-113, witch is not extremely rare but is scarce, and with the details on the stars and the hair on the obverse. Then the wings and shield on the reverse I believe it to be an O-113. Let me know what you think, and let me know how to find the value of this coin, and if everyone agrees with me on the O-113 Glad to be back and I'm doing 1000% better... -Stella Here's the pics see if im wrong about the overton designation...
Glad to hear you're recovering and back home. Those are incredible shots of a very beautiful "cappy". Took the lap top a full minute to load those pics....
I must admit, I thought that you had pulled a DAK on us. Welcome back! I am glad to hear that you are doing better. Now you have to follow the doctors orders and keep yourself there. Been there / done that.
Welcome back. I am new to the forum but I know what it is like to be un healthy. I have Crohns Disease. So, do what the doctors say and keep yourself well. BTW, beautiful coin
This is one time I would have rather seen pictures of your smiling face instead of that beautiful coin. You beat the odds, my man. You might not be mint state anymore, but AU ain't bad.
I think it was a gutsy move sending it back to em' but hey, nice coin and glad you're happy! Glad to hear you are doing better as well, like RLM thought you had pulled a DAK but glad to see you here again.
Glad your with us again Stella. Many were concerned that we had not seen you for a couple of months now. Stay well now!!!!
