Will you share your secrets, or is this proprietary? And what is the accretion?

I just kept this silver denarius in vinegar overnight..In the morning, I just used a cotton cloth, that's it..

I am amazed at how well your MD finds clean up. So glad for you. I know you are consistent in your searching, and I'm very glad that your success is consistent, too! Love to see your posts, especially the "before and after".

Probably not too much different depending on the strength of any one of them as they would be just mild acidic....

Just wonder if the citric acid would have any chelating effect...

Hi Kentacky..Yes, I cleaned the coins with lemon juice and citrus acid, but only when I was completely sure that the coin is of pure silver, because vinegar is less aggressive on metal..In this case, I thought this coin was silver plated..
