@Beardigger Your coin on the left, seems to be Byzantine, but I'm not 100% certain. It seems to be a bronze tetarteron, or bronze half tetarteron, but I'm not certain of that. I'm not a tetarteron expert. Here's my best guess. The 1st photo seems to be the obverse side, and seems to be upside down. On the obverse, seems to be a portrait of the upper half of Jesus, or Mary, or one of the saints, perhaps Saint Demetrius. The 2nd photo seems to be the reverse side, and seems to be a portrait of the upper half of a Byzantine Emperor. He seems to be wearing a typical Byzantine crown with pendilia hanging on each side of the crown. He seems to be holding a globus cruciger in his left hand. He seems to be holding a labarum in his right hand. Your coin somewhat resembles my John II The Good half tetarteron, but your coin could be Manuel I, or some other Byzantine Emperor.
