Were it not in a GSA holder, and submitted raw, it would have been detailed, for post mint contact that is excessive.
Not really sure what grade to give the coin? Still a wonderful Morgan I would be proud to own that coin.
I feel it's an MS 61. I generally consider an MS 60 grade should only be used when describing a coin that is technically Uncirculated but is a problem coin. A MS 60 coin could be ugly, stained, heavy bag marks, fingerprints, scratched etc. There is no reason to assign a details grade because calling a coin MS 60 is a details grade. That 85 CC deserves a grade better than MS 60. It's not that bad, a little banged up but still OK.
MS-61. Too many marks on the obverse. I am surprised that there is an “Uncirculated” mark on the GSA holder because of the obverse marks.
