Seller is selling what they're calling "Re-strikes" of several different coins!
Seller claims them to be original size and weight!
These coins ARE NOT stamped or marked COPY or DUP!
Lets work to get these taken down before they sell anymore of these counterfeits!

You may not be looking at images of the coin you actually receive.

    Very good point!
Although the die chip isn't present in the mint mark, and the cross bar in the "B" in the designers initials looks possibly to straight?

    Thank you!
I believe I've corrected that issue, I ran both links again after the edit.

And since the seller says he's selling restrikes, that means he's posting deceptive photos of an item that's not the one for sale, in addition to violating eBay's policy against fakes. This one should be easy to take down.

The edge is not depicted. It may be marked copy or restrike or some other wording that would indicate it is not an original U.S. Mint 1909S VDB. Maybe not, but since there is no photo to confirm or not confirm, it is a clever sales pitch, using titillating language...new, unopened, blahblahblah. Sure, it is a somewhat misleading, however, without seeing the edge, nobody can say the seller is not complying with HPA. As to the photo used, it could be the piece being sold. Who knows?

Not to mention, what person, knowledgeable or not, thinks such an original piece can be bought for $27.95? I find it more egregious that the origination is Australia. Those darn Aussies... always making mit da mischief.

The sources of these sells them CHEAP.
The con's buys them and if they're decent they peddle them as genuine.
What's happening here is a small distribution point.

I just sent the seller a message asking if the item pictured is a sample image of one of the restrikes, or is it just a generic image.
    Waiting a reply................

Yes, I know. The point I am highlighting, is it is good to have all ducks in a row before asking for adjudication by ebay. That is all.

Okay, above was the question to the seller, well I just got a reply!
Shipping times on these is OUT THERE!
I'm going out on a limb and say that the listing location is one place, and the source is China Based!
We've busted a couple of the China Based ebay sources in the past.
copy & paste quote from the seller!
