Hey,I'm not mind reader anything is possible!!you could still hit the jackpot for 40 straight rolls of BU W quarters and have an early retirement.

 

1 bank today had 1 CWR halves and $9.50 loose...nothing of note

 

This is my first ever W. I also found a 1982 S proof dime yesterday!

 

Quick look,now it's time for the variety hunt.

 

The latest nickel box for me was pretty much uneventful. 1941-S was the best find. The most unusual discovery was a penny ender. The early decade count was one 1939 (P), six from the 1940s, and five from the 1950s.

 

Dont worry you'll get a war nickel next time!!.

 

Went to an out of town bank and picked up a penny and nickel box.

Penny Box: My 13 yo daughter helped and we had a competition to see who would find the most keepers. She was the clear cut winner.

Me: 2 Wheat Cents (1936, 1956d),
4 Canada Cents (various dates)
Daughter: 3 Wheat Cents (1952d, 1954, 1957d) and, to rub it in more, she also found a 1901 IHC.

Nickel Box: I did this one myself
29 Pre-1960 nickels (no war nickels or key dates). But I also found a 1905 V-Nickel, first one CRH in a loooong time.

 

Some minor DDR's but I'll still take em.

 

I haven't been searching a ton of pennies lately but here in the Denver area I almost never see wheats in newer rolls. Likewise I don't see many S's here either, of any years.

Nothing special here but it was a genuinely fun moment to get this in a newer Loomis rolls that also had a bunch of 2022 pennies...I'm taking it as a good sign for roll hunting this year

 

Dumb to miss place that.
