Got bored and decided to fake an 1914-D

    Not much different from some of the other obvious fake coins I have seen.:goofer:

    Are you sure it's fake? Maybe you should send it to PCGS to get graded. I love the unusual toning around the date.:)

    I would have just scrapped off an 1944-d. But ever since I cut my finger with a butter knife, I thought I had better be safe.:)

    Thats at least better than 3/4 of the ones I've seen on Ebay. You could get $100 for that easy there :D

    Now all you have to do is get a '09s and add a vdb and you'll have two of the keys!:eek:

    I think I will send it in to one of those 2nd or 3rd tier grading company (you kow those ones that let you chose the grade based on price) and have them put ms64 on it.

    I'm dissapointed about that 14D. Never saw the reverse so couldn't tell if it's really worth a lot of money. :goofer:
