[CLOSED] Memorial weekend contest OVER Winners have been selected

This contest is CLOSED. Winners were announced in Post #22.

Here are the rules:

1. To enter write "ENTRY POST" at the beginning of your post and show us any coin, token, hobo nickel of your choice

2. You are limited to ONE entry post. Multiple entries by the same member will be disqualified.

3. The winner will be selected by random number generator. Your entry number will be your post number (if the generator picks a non entry post, I will run it until there is a winner). and to be clear I will have 3 winners

4. Only U.S. addresses please.

5. Please have at least 10 coin-related postings to Coin Talk to enter.

6. You may pick a young collector to receive the prize.

7. For young collectors, please have your parent/guardian’s permission to enter.


8. Contest will run until midnight eastern time May 28th 2022 the drawing will be on May 29th 2022

I choose a young collector to receive the prize, and that young collector is me! I don't have any tokens or hobo nickels to show, so I would like to show this 20mm Antoninianus of Gordian III. I think it's somewhat related to the prize coins, because the reverse shows Mars, the God of war. Really proud of this because it's my first ancient, and I'm nearly to the point of purchasing another.

living a few hours from gettysburg, I don’t know why I’ve never been to this event. I’ll have to make a point to go this year.

not a coin, but I hope it counts. And I’m not a currency collector, just happened upon this and it still remains the flagship of my collection.

Those are really cool prizes!
This coin is something I found in a bulk foreign coin lot I purchased on Ebay.
The date is wickedly doubled that is NOT a photo problem.
It is a 1994 Uruguay 20 Centisimos. Sadly, not much value due to the poor quality control down there, but still a neat find.
