The book is more than twice the face of the quarters. I just wish there was a major bank near here that would get rolls for me.
That's so bad, it sounds and looks like a spoof!!! Too bad it's not... and you just got have a sick feeling chuckle at how they demonstrate putting big old thumbprints on your collected coins!
Thumbprints are minor compared to the people that end up using a hammer of some type to get them into those slots. And as with similar folders for the State Quarteres, nothing is ever said as to the content of the paper they use.
If you look into all the manufacturers of folders today, not Albums, you would see companies you never heard of before. And may never hear of them again. Many make other products that are not coin related and just use the standard whatever material they have on hand to make these folders. They are popping up for almost any type of coins lately. Really scarry since people really do buy them and push coins into those slots.
People also spend money in Las Vegas to experience Europe or other cultural sites from the world, doesn't make them world travelers anymore than coins in inferior albums makes them collectors.
The main problem is most people don't realize that there are hammers made for just that purpose. A coin hammer is made with special material that not only places a coin in those folders but also can be used to remove them from the rear. They have rotational heads to fit each type of coin.
