I bought a gun (marlin Rifle) in the middle of the street once. Guy told me that the police just gave it back to him and he had to get rid of it. Best $20 ever spent

We talkedto locals there and they said that during WWII many germans and Italians moved to Costa Rica. And i gotta say, the pizza there was ALOT better than most places around here (NJ).

The original thin Italian pizza will always be the best, like the ones in Costa Rica. Around here I kinda of like the very thick one. What I can't stand is the type that soaked in grease and oil and just falls apart.

I did in the past. Hell, I used to live in a thirteenth floor apartment, with 3 homeless shelters in sight.

In the backwoods of Klamath falls, ORegon
Went there to go visit my friend working on a pot farm. He was getting arrested when we pulled up, and his mom decided to try and sell us her coin collection to help pay bail.
She sold us a 50 lb barrel of dateless buffaloes, 2 unopened bags fo mrogan dollars, as well as sevral hundred others.
That one bag turned out to be an 1882 O. Half of them were the 1882 o/s variety.
The other bag is a CC. the date I ownt reveal since I have them and am going to leak them on the market soon.

However it was very nice, I still have all those buffaloes, a bag of the mrogans and several ziplock freezer bags of wheats, mercury dimes, rossevelt dimes and silver quarters.
    Will never forget that.

I didn't purchase the coins but the lady beside me on a plane gave me two coins from Hungary (10 and 100 forints). I had struck up a conversation with her because I liked her necklace, which was a mercury dime. I made $0.55 on that trip to Europe. I couldn't get the necklace away from her though.

Not sure if this ranks as UNUSUAL at all. Happens almost every day in Chicago. You can buy guns, ammo, etc at many flea markets or just on the streets in many nighborhoods. Odd thing though is I've been approached many times to buy jewlery, guns, knives, swords and once even a hand grenade. But just no coins.
None of my coin purchases are unusual since flea markets, garage/yard/estate sales, coin shows, etc are all just common. Oddly also, is never find any coins in a pawn shop or I wonder if maybe I look like the police or something since when I ask about coins, they sort of stare at me.

I was at Aldi's. You need a quarter to get a shopping cart. I was returning my cart. There was a Mexican man in need of a cart, but he didn't have a quarter. I gave him my cart. It's only a quarter. He gave me a Mexican coin. Not sure what it is, but it's really cool looking. It's one of those coins that have the silver colored center with the gold colored ring around it.
