Chinese 10 Yaun Panda doesn't show black

    wondering why the Chinese 10 Yaun I bought a couple months ago looks more like a "Proof" than with the black parts of panda. because of the lighting the coin on camera the panda looks black, but at eye balling view it looks reflective almost chrome. If you still want a picture.[​IMG]

    I am wondering if it just lost the coloring sitting in the box I have it in. I kind of can't find if proofs were done. You're certain it is a proof? Its too fancy to have been a replacement coin.

    Most pandas are proofs

    All business strike (bullion) Pandas have prooflike fields. But technically they’re not proofs. The last time proof Panda coins were minted was during the late 1990s.

    The China Mint does currently produce proof Panda medals for coin shows, but those are a different series from the bullion coins and are not legal tender
