It looks like it was purposely labeled to fool uneducated people into thinking its something it is not. JMHO.
@Gorham_Collector Nice error coin. Did you send it in yourself for grading, and if yes, do you think the fees were worth it?
@Gorham_Collector I saw the PCGS page of the coin and noticed that Lincoln has a splitting headache (aka: die crack). That makes it more desirable!
No I didn’t send it in. It originally sold in January to an error collector I then found it on ebay in may for significantly less for what it sold for in January had to pick it up then
Oh haha Yea I don’t like how the grading companies have some terms on slabs very general ones for die breaks and such too. I feel they should really up the labels in quality of how they r worded and such
