    I have about 10-15 SBAs that I got from my father. They're clean (not cleaned), but from what I've read, they aren't in much demand unless you need one to fill a slot.
    Anything to look for on my SBAs?

    Nothing else really variety-wise. Of course errors could occur in any series, but in this one, if there are any, I think you're going to have to find them, yourself. The reason I say is, less attention is paid to this series. Less interest, less attention, less finds, less documentation. Less microscopes. There's a better way to put it.

    What's the average cost to grade a coin , just curious. I will be sending some in as soon as I figure out how to do all of that and which ones to send in, I heard first time customers to NGC can get a one time discount, is this correct ?

    I don’t send coins in to be graded as I feel it’s too costly. Wait for others to chime in.

    Do you think it may be worth having it graded

    I don't know that grading it would improve the value of it. It might, if it maxes out, but it doesn't look like it from those pics. I could be wrong. The thing is, collectors of these know it's a premium variety, and it looks to be gem. You get the right ones, they'll bid it, as such, no TPG endorsement required. That's just where I'm thinking, if it helps any.

    Yes I deffinately need to capture better photos, I was just thinking I could have it graded and sealed for the grandkids.

    That's a reason many collectors do it. Profit-wise, it's probably not a great move, not on a coin like that. Get the experience, though, if you're concerned about preserving it on a grade. It's not a bad coin for that. Or I could think of worse, lol.

    The average cost with round trip shipping, insurance, and grading fees is between $40-$50 per coin. You can join a TPG's grading club with annual memberships that include a set number of coin gradings that vary with the level ($) of membership.
    The coin would have to grade at least MS65 (current sold auction price = app $45-$55) just to break even. With out better pictures I can't comment whether your coin is worth it without better pictures.
    You can find out more information by visiting;
    PCGS.com
    NGC.com
    ANACS.com
    IGCCOIN.com
    ANACS and IGC do have lower grading fees and would probably be better suited for you coin.
