I think it is a MS66 even though it doesn't have the prettiest toning. There appears to be a die chip on the eagles left foot. The strike on the eagle looks great to me.

with further review it with the wing detail missing, I think it is just a weak strike. I'll drop the grade to 65.

    Right. It’s an NGC MS63:

I like the OPs coin, especially the toning, but it shouldn’t grade higher than choice MS due to the obvious strike issues and moderate luster.

Thanks, but I think the OPs pictures aren’t so great. Better pictures and it looks as good as mine.

The photo doesn’t do the luster justice

Yeah, these can be tricky when the toning is a bit heavy, but fun to hone your skills. A bit harder with pics also due to not really being able to see the luster.

I think AU-58, it shows wear on Eagles head and tops of wings and on shield and head of Liberty.

A 66!! WOW! Niiiiice! NGC shows only 52 in the census in that grade with only 11 graded higher.
Here's mine. It's funny how they tended to tone so similarly. I have a CC version in VG too.
This is an AU-55 in my US Type for comparison.
