Here is one from my Dad's collection that he has marked as a strike thru. It has no date.
It doesn't look damaged. You can barely see 1. Is it tagged correct?

I don't think it's damaged. That said, something or other obliterated that date.

 

I’m no pro. The experience ones will tell you. But it’s nice and looks like something. Nice!

 

Hmm that's bizarre. It's really hard to tell from a flat picture but it looks like maybe more of a planchet defect than struck through to me.
