We have two complete sets one for each granddaughter. It took a while, but it was worth it. Thanks for sharing yours.
Sure you will. Be positive and take your time. Most of these are only worth a dollar or so but three of them will be over $100. And that’s in low grade. Lol
My collection started with inheriting a lot of coins from my father. When I got them, I put them away for a while. About a year later, I saw a magazine about coins and bought it. After reading the magazine, I got an itch to go through all of the coins to see what was in it. Then I bought a Red Book and found out that some of the coins were worth more than face value. The coins were loose, so I got some information from a dealer and he really gave me the itch again. That was in 2006. Now, when I get home from work, i look at the coins in my pocket and the ones in my wife's purse (with her permission). I'm now in a "shotgun" mode. Thanks for the info.
That is sweet. That’s how I began and still looking through them. And yes “permission” lol! Good luck!
Please explain to me why I need permission to look in her purse but she can go through my wallet without asking or telling me. Lol
Because “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine! “ lol! Just a quote from many but I don’t care if hubby goes through it. But some well some things are just for one’s own self.
Just asking because of what happened last year. I knew I had a ten in my wallet and I went to a store, opened my wallet and it was gone. I paid by credit card and when I got home I asked my wife about it. She replied to the affect that she needed a ten and forgot to tell me. Her forgetfulness is normal but getting in my wallet is not. Lol
See that’s a true collector. Found Traded. Or gifted. My Abe collection has alot of holes but I only need 1 war nickel to complete that Volume #1 book. @Collecting Nut Bravo to the both of you
And you just enjoy filling a damn book. Quite an accountlishment. You are a nut. You like all coins. Accomplishment
You can’t go into her purse. She needed a quick ten. You know how hard you’d have to dig to my purse to find my money. You’d have to dump it on the table
