So I have this 1901 Canadian Cent. It is mostly brown with some mice copper type color one the face. I know very little about it. So, a grade, rarity, and value would be nice...

    I think - it is VF+ (very fine+).

Hey cool. Nice coin. I agree with VF grade, but I'd venture into the higher VF's in the 30's
you asked about rarity. The large cents from 1901 - 1920 with the exception of one keydate can all be had for relatively cheap.
Thanks for sharing, got anymore? :)

Uh... I might have some other Canadian money, but I think this is the oldest one I have... Tell you what, I'm setting up a server right now, but when I'm done with that, I'll take some pictures and post 'em here.

Edit: Here is a taste of what is to come...:smile

Would it be wise to start a new thread for all the pictures and stuff I'm going to post? Or should I leave it here? ...

Well, most of the coinage from canada I have is 1940+, and a lot of it is silver and/or clad. My camera broke, so I did not get any more pictures of copper, but I got a picture of my oldest coin (except for the U.S. morgan, but I can't seem to find it...) and the rest of my quarters, dimes, and nickels... also one dollar coin.

Here is the 1898 5 Cent piece. My grandpa found it on a field somewhere in Minnesota way back in the 50's.

Judging by the crown jewels details I would say VF-30 or even VF-35. :D

Siberian Man, This is a thread where DhizKanichioko was asking for opinions on his coin. We were discussing his coin. What youa re doing by posting all your coins is called "Hijacking" his thread. If you want to share your coins it is suggested that you start a thread about them.
