A couple harder to find S mint barbers

In my area S minted coins are almost common place. Not that I’m complaining. Being in far Northern California I find lots of harder to find S mints. A year ago I picked up a 89 S Morgan.

Two great dates.

I started to collect the 1913 S dimes before they became popular.

Now, I have a small 'hoard' of them

Same with the '01 S half dollar.
Both unrecognized tougher dates

 

That’s why I picked them up. I still don’t understand how a dime with only twice the mintage of the 16d can be so inexpensive. Paid $30 for mine

 

Great deal, I still pick them up, even at today's prices.
