I am not seeing doubling on the monument, only normal design features. Also, a cud involves the rim of a coin not the central devices. A worn, circulated zinc cent. Keep searching though, you will find something eventually, and welcome to CT
Ok. I'm new to coin collecting. I am very interested in learning all that I can. Will someone post a picture of actual doubling? And sorry for the incorrect labels. I thought a cud was kinda like a "blob" of whatever, I'm guessing metal and greases, something like that...the spot I'm referring to is on his neck just below the hairline, better seen in the 2nd photo
This is a great year for looking for DDRs. Most of the doubling is found in the last bays of the Memorial. Have a look at this link - Advanced search - coppercoins.com for the DDRs for the date.
Is it ok for me to post a picture of a quarter in this same feed? I would like opinions on if I actually found something
@meandyou4ever0 Best to post that Quarter in another thread as you’ll get answers. There are many kinds of doubling but only one is the kind you want. An example of the 1955 is posted above. A cud must tough the rim like this one. It’s at 8:00 o’clock.
