Well what do you think it is? If you want to learn then tell us any reason you may think "It's not mechanically/machine type doubling"??? If your going to learn it's time to start. Not being difficult but you can learn here or just ask for peoples opinion, "what do you want to learn/gain from this, (questions on CoinTalk). The best way to learn is just jump right in and since you don't know we will help guilde you on your current thinking process, So,,, tell us why you may think it's this or that or why you don't know.
Hi, bhp3rd : In this case i thought it was a possible double die because the double line was more define and strait than normal... it is probably because this coin is not a circulated coins. When i don't know something, i just ask a question to expert like you. It is not easy to know the difference between double machine and double die... Only expert know because they have lot of experience with coins. I'm a beginer and i begin a personal collection... no gain... just fun :smile Thanks.
Fair enough just a little challenge is all - never hurts to turn the tide and ask yourself the same questions. It's not an easy thing to learn - some never do. When you find a mid to larger true doubled die you WILL know it and I hope you do - it's a thrill!!!
