    It’s just hard to tell, that’s all. I would place in a flip and kept it separate until it can be identified. It’s interesting but I just can’t tell.

    From your latest photos, I'd bet it is just a stain. Why not try an acetone soak overnight and then use a Q-tip on it. Let us know how that turns out.
