Beautiful looking on the coin but much better in person. I’ll never forget this park as Glacier is where I saw my first Grizzly Bear in the wild. He was about a year and a half old according to the park ranger but he was playing like a child. It was so neat to watch him.
I like the Mountain goat on the coin but O saw my first of many years before in the mountains of Montana, not far from Helena, the capital of the state.
Very nice. As you may have guessed, living where and as I do, I see bears (yes, grizzlies too) in my front yard. LOL
Mountain goat? It’s on the coin…I was not sure if you saw it lol but I saw you looked at it and it had a disease. Lol!
WOW. ... Glacier is one of my favorite parks in the world. I’ve been to lots of them world-wide. In my simple opinion I think the golf course there is the most beautiful for things outside of the golfing that I’ve ever played. LOL. ... I’ve got a number of the coins. Me and the nine other people that ever collected the whole set.
Nice photos! I’ve seen a number of black beats while hiking with my wife. She walks faster than me so she gets ahead of me. Then I hear her scream and all I see is the poor bear rear end as he’s running away. Not worth the photo. Lol
I have photos of the mountain goats in Glacier on my camera. The cable to attach it to my laptop has given up and doesn't work for the photo transfer but still charges the camera. I may go to Best Buy tomorrow and get another. I have many photos of deer, elk, antelope, bighorn sheep, and anything else that I encountered while working in Missoula for a year. I fished every day I got a break from work.
I love to see animals from the wild. The Smithsonian channel has had some great programs about Yellowstone and others. Lately, they have been doing movies of people living in the wild in Alaska. My wife's idea of wildlife is when her chiweenie runs around in our back yard. I like your coin. I was able to fill the book on the states and the parks. It was fun, but I'm not much on another set.
