I received these from a relative and I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. Are they uncirculated? Should I open them up? I like looking to find error coins with pennies but they are pretty rare with regards to state quarters. I'm thinking of selling some too. See photos:
On the "George", (presidential dollars), ya might wanna crack that one open and see if any lack 'edge lettering'. Other than that, I shall await other voices.
The two mint rolls you have pretty high chance of finding something special I'd say open them and good luck.
I don't know if they are uncirculated but they are unsearched. And I'm planning on re-rolling them and splitting them among relatives... or.... I could reroll and resell. If I do unroll them, what state quarter has the most errors?
More than likely, they are just a bunch of random quarters. No way to tell you what is likely to be in there without you opening them. Otherwise - They are worth f/v.
Not really into the state quarter series but for the gold dollars look for this, the wounded eagle as they call it.
I guess that would depend on what the "newly favorite relative" gave them to you for. Knowing you enjoy coins, I'd guess they thought you'd go through them, so you should. Just my thoughts on it.
